Going home for Christmas...Again!

Every year again I know that Santa Claus won't be bringing my parents presents, Instead they get orders, and a lot of them. Since London isn't to far away from Belgium, I'm trying to make it home on my days off to help out during this busy christmas period. But this year things will be a bit different, let me tell you why!

A few months ago I was approached to lead the pastry section in a brand new opening for my current employer. I cant really tell anything about it yet but long story short, I decided to grab this opportunity with both hands and starting from January 2013 I will start working on this new project.

Sadly enough, this great job offer comes with a price. Two weeks ago I finished my last shift for The Arts Club and with loads of regret and pain in my heart I'm leaving behind an amazing pastry team, and via this way I would like to thank them for being the best team I could have ever wished for. All of you are great in your own way and if you all keep working the way you did with me, you will have a great future ahead of you.

So last year I wrote for you going home for christmas and since I'm leaving the arts club as a free man for the beginning of December, it spoke for itself that also this year I'm heading home for Christmas to help out in the pastry shop, and just like last year, I made a few pictures of what all went down in our pastry during the build-up to Christmas.

There only rests me one more thing and that's to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! And a big thank you to all of you for following the blog for the past three years, It's been a pleasure seeing this blog grow into what it is today! see you all in 2013!
